Beginning in the summer of 2026, the Millersburg Area School District will be migrating domains for a simpler and more modern experience for staff, students, and the community. Below is the timeline for this migration.

  • July 13: Test with a small group of inactive user accounts and verify

  • July 14: All student accounts will be migrated

  • July 15: All Teachers, Staff, Paraprofessionals, Substitutes, and Coaches will be migrated

  • July 16: Verification of migration and any accounts that fall outside the above groups

Currently, Millersburg Area School District operates both the mlbgsd.k12.pa.us and mlbgsd.org domains for Staff and Students across multiple platforms; These will both be merging into a single new Staff domain of MillersburgSD.us and a single Student subdomain of stu.MillersburgSD.us

This change will affect services such as:

  • District Website address

  • Staff and Student Emails

  • Account login for Microsoft & Google

  • Rostered applications and Single Sign-On through ClassLink

  • PowerSchool

  • . . .and more

As an example, the user webadmin@mlbgsd.k12.pa.us will become webadmin@millersburgsd.us - Accessing the district website will change from https://www.mlbgsd.k12.pa.us to https://www.millersburgsd.us

Student email/accounts will change from 25hawkt@mlbgsd.org to 25hawkt@stu.millersburgsd.us

Once this changeover occurs, the existing domains will continue to forward/redirect to the new domain for a minimum of 3 years at which point they will be reevaluated. During this time, the mlbgsd.k12.pa.us and mlbgsd.org domains will still function for communication purposes but not for staff or student logins.

For the first 12 months following this change, any email sent from a school account will automatically include a notice of the domain name change and a link to this article. We will also provide a notice on the website and social media to ensure the community and vendors have adequate notice and time to update their records.

The MLBGSD abbreviation will continue to be used where appropriate for communication and documentation purposes.
